What the report is for
An EICR records the condition of an electrical installation at the time of inspection. It identifies observations that need attention and gives you a record to plan any follow-up work.
We agree the extent and any limitations before testing, then explain the outcome in plain language once the report is complete.

We confirm circuits, boards, occupancy and any operational constraints.
The installation is examined and relevant electrical measurements are taken.

EICR questions
An EICR reports on the fixed electrical installation. Appliance inspection and testing is a separate scope. If you need both, mention the equipment when arranging the inspection so the visit can be planned.
Electrical testing normally involves planned interruptions. Let us know about occupied rooms, business hours and equipment that needs special arrangements before the visit.
